Gabriella Tafoya-Torrez
Owner | Psychotherapist | Clinical Supervisor | Family Life Educator
My name is Gabriella and I am a born and raised New Mexican, a licensed clinical mental health counselor, and a certified family life educator. I received my Bachelor’s degree from University of New Mexico in Human Development and Family Relations and my Master’s degree from Southwestern College in Mental Health Counseling. It is my deepest belief that change and healing begins with a meaningful connection. I come from a foundation of liberation psychology, person-centered, strength-based, and Gestalt therapies to invite each person to be a collaborator and an active participant in the therapeutic work. We will use reflection, awareness and mindfulness to discover what unique path is going to foster long-term growth for each person. I believe that people are like wildflowers, inherently strong enough to weather life’s storms and grow through even the most difficult of terrains. It is absolutely my heart’s work to be of service, and to help everyone find within themselves that not only are you capable, you are worthy! I can’t wait to begin.
